Trials of Memories is a documentation of one of my visions. I display my struggle with finding balance between this world and the spiritual realm. With each memory or vision comes an overwhelming emotion from that spirit or spirits. I fabricated an antique chair with a French country design, casted my hands with plaster, and created a fluid like grave with resin. I decided to cast my hands because the dreams serve as memories from a past lives I am familiar with. A pair of hands pulls the chair back, causing it to fall into a sea of memories. This act symbolizes the communication of messages.
